Prospective Postdoctoral Researchers:

Prospective PhD Students:

Applications to the Columbia University Electrical Engineering PhD program are managed at the department level, see https://www.ee.columbia.edu/ee-admissions for details.

Prospective PhD students should indicate Prof. Matthias Preindl as designated faculty and Smart Electric Energy as designated research area. Please fill in the interest form after submission and include your resume and transcripts.

Email inquiries regarding admission should be directed to the electric engineering administration.

Prospective MS Students (Thesis or Project): 

Applications to the Columbia University Electrical Engineering MS program are managed at the department level, see https://www.ee.columbia.edu/ee-admissions for details.

MS students do not require a faculty sponsor for admission. However, students in the MS students program can conduct research or write an MS thesis. MS students should indicate Smart Electric Energy as area of interest at admission.

The MPlab has designated projects for Columbia University MS students during the Fall and Spring semesters. MS students may get involved once they join the graduate program.
