Cyril Darku

M.S. Alumni

Cyril is a M.S. student and Tesla Scholar at Columbia University. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (First Class Honors) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology in Ghana (2017).

Prior to attending Columbia, he worked with General Electric in the energy sector in sub-Saharan Africa. During his time at GE, he worked on a variety of gas turbine configurations and modifications, market tariffs and PPAs.

In his spare time, he loves to play chess and is a member of the Columbia University Formula Racing Team.

Research areas are in power systems, energy policy and electric vehicles.
