We study various techniques for battery modeling, including equivalent circuit models in both the time and frequency domains. We also consider higher scale models beyond cell-level such as module- and pack-level models.
We're using data-driven techniques to perform battery diagnostics, including state of charge (SoC) and state of health (SoH) estimation. We also study battery degradation using long-term experimental cycling protocols.
We study active battery balancing from both the hardware design and control perspectives. We use a modular design to reduce cost and space, potentially accelerating the adoption of active balancing.
